I just viewed a plastic (box) crate company website that said they rent by the month (because that is their normal rental period) rather than like most plastic moving crate folks and rent by the week. Can your business shut down for a week, much less a month, run, run can you imagine how much this non-solution will cost you? You need and deserve a box-less move and here is the crazy thing it cost less, not just in your hidden payroll and lost revenue but the amount you pay the mover. Also without a bunch of boxes, plastic (boxes) crates you will be going green.
Avoid unneeded expenses, boost morale, increase productivity and do without the moving hangover associated with boxes or plastic crates. Your clients and customers will thank you when you are able to regain focus on them rather than the moving process. An office relocation will cost you money a poorly organized move will cost you a ton of money. Gambling with your business sounds awful don’t find out how awful as you are fighting to get your entity back on its feet.
I remember what Ed Katz “office moving guru” said to me “two-thirds of employees tapped to handle their company’s move are either demoted or fired after a move”. Don’t be a statistic, do your homework and make the right decision for your company. A box-less move is a great, move a boxed move is many times a disaster.

I am not sure I agree.
Sadly I hear this often, even from office movers. Sadly they hold onto this notion because they bought the plastic crate myth. For 25 years we have been moving completely void of boxes or plastic crates. We had the plastic crate samples sent to us by dozens of vendors. We checked them out but they were so antiquated and dragged out a move badly. If you hold onto this plastic box notion it is either because you have too much money tied up in them, you sell them, or you do not have your customer’s best interest in mind.
